What marks does a stump grinder leave on a wet lawn?

The first real hint of spring hit us today — that soft morning fog, the pine in the air, and a day warm enough to make you forget winter ever happened.

And yes… we were out working in it.
A quick field note from the crew:
Ohio got buried in snow this winter, and now it’s all melting at once. The yard where we were supposed to remove a stump? Pure sponge. The kind of ground that swallows your boots and your dignity.
So instead of tearing up the lawn — or our work pants — we took the lightweight grinder out for a stroll. And since people always wonder what kind of marks a grinder leaves behind, we figured we’d show you. Spoiler: it’s really not dramatic, especially considering landscapers will be digging in that area anyway.
Take a look and tell us — how “bad” does it look to you?
